According to my parents, I was talking before I should have been, and reading soon after that. As a teen I devoured Judy Bloom and yes, even VC Andrews. My mom began tearing the “inappropriate” pages out of my books soon after, forcing me to write my own. I’ve been doing it ever since. I write everything from tame to a little tawdry, with most stories landing somewhere in between.

I’ve traveled all over, have friends of all races, creeds, and nationalities and as a result, so do my books. I write about love without borders because I believe that love has the power to break down borders.  One of my favorite quotes is by the late Maya Angelou.

Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope.

 

So I write all about that here.  About the love, the pain and everything in between.  There are things that happened and things that I wish had. Somewhere in between lies the story.
